Housing

<span style="font-weight: 400;"> I focus in affordable housing, representing clients in reasonable accommodations complaints to simple landlord-tenant claims.  In Texas, the Texas Property Code governs all residential housing disputes, regardless of affordable or conventional designation, and in the affordable field I offer experience in complicated regulation of those disputes.  I generally represent businesses on the landlord side of disputes, but I do offer assistance to individual residents on a case-by-case basis in conventional housing. </span>

Real Estate

<span style="font-weight: 400;">I offer assistance to buyers & sellers in small and large real property transfers.  As I focus in affordable housing, I understand the restraints placed on buyers and sellers in these transactions.  Conventional transactions are different in nature and much more straight-forward for both parties. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">  </span>

Legislative Affairs

<span style="font-weight: 400;">As policy is developed through the marketplace of ideas flowing through the respective branches of government, it is important that careful thought and strategy is put into place when looking to accomplish your goals. I work hard to inform the respective government figures and agencies of my clients’ practical perspectives affecting their businesses.  I do not guarantee success, but I do assure thorough consideration of client goals and zealously advocate on their behalf to put clients in a position for success. Knowing the key “players” and being in contact with decision-makers is vital, but being aware of how it may affect the “common good” when dealing with our government is most important in any approach.     </span>

Governmental Compliance

<span style="font-weight: 400;">With a focus in affordable housing I am familiar with the issues the affordable housing field faces in maintaining compliance with the administered programs.  In general, I understand the issues clients face with compliance in other fields and am able to assist in a variety of manners with businesses that require maintaining compliance within applicable government programs.  </span>

Estate Planning
